The EVPA (European Venture Philanthropy Association) has dedicated one of its latest case studies to Seed Capital Bizkaia and its Entrepreneurship and Social Impact Fund (FEIS in Spanish), highlighting it as a good practice at Europeal level.
Under the title of “Seed Capital Bizkaia – Entrepreneurship and Social Impact Fund”, it highlights the institutional commitment of the regional entity for the promotion of entrepreneurship and innovation in the field of social economy.
EVPA
Created in 2004, the association brings together a total of 320 agents involved in the field of work dedicated to measuring social impact, developing its own methodology for managing, controlling and measuring social impact.
ENTREPRENEURSHIP AND SOCIAL IMPACT FUND
The Entrepreneurship and Social Impact Fund, promoted by Seed Capital Bizkaia, object of study of one of the success stories by the leading European association in the field of social impact, was established in 2014 with the aim of supporting the promotion and consolidation of business initiatives with social impact in Bizkaia. Currently, it has a portfolio of 10 investee companies in different sectors: concretely in education, circular economy, insertion and social inclusion and health.
