2020 has been a difficult year that, at the same time, has been an important turning point.

The Provincial Council of Bizkaia launched an urgent aid plan to promote the reactivation of the territory in a multidimensional way: the Bizkaia Aurrera! program.

Seed Capital Bizkaia Mikro joined this program by making credits available to micro-SME’s under advantageous conditions, thus reinforcing its firm commitment to supporting and boosting the business fabric of Bizkaia.

A total of 740 loans granted to 626 companies in the territory of Bizkaia.

A total amount of 8.551.500 euros available for micro-SME’s of Bizkaia

Each company has received on average a total of 13.661 euros.

Young and small businesses

More than 50% of the companies supported by Bizkaia Aurrera! Mikrokredituak have been created in the last 5 years. 61% of the 626 companies have less than 2 workers.

Services and Tourism

41,05% of the supported companies carry out their activity in the services and tourism sector.
